Check out Endeavour Elementary's very own garden!  The School Garden was a project started by PTA parent volunteers, Sarka Rand and Julie Westermann. The garden beds were built by Logan Wheeler while earning his Eagle Scout Award. Over the spring and summer this beautiful garden produced strawberries, lettuce, tomatoes, kohlrabi, broccoli, chard, carrots, pumpkins, sunflowers, nasturtiums, spinach, butternut squash, and green beans. When harvests have been plenty, produce has been delivered to the Mukilteo Food Bank.

In 2016-17 we added 3 new rain barrels and a composter.  PTA member, Wendi Dunavan and her family kindly donated a rain barrel and a composter.  Michelle Mitsuuchi-Stork, another PTA member, obtained approval from Mr. Raymond and the Mukilteo School District; and worked with contractor Jim Kramer of JS Gutters, who generously donated 2 additional barrels and installed all 3 at No Charge!  The rain barrels serve as our watering source for our garden, and the composter will help us to recycle all our clippings into new soil.  All efforts were made to further the education of our students on sustainable gardening practices.

Come join the Garden Club on TUESDAYS during the Fall & Spring after school at 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. (weather- permitting) to get your hands dirty, and have a little outdoor fun. Please help us continue this program by signing up to be a Garden Guide: Sign Up Here.
